Snowmass Monte Carlo Simulations (Top & Higgs)

This is a repository of files with Monte Carlo (MC) events after the Delphes fast simulation for the Snowmass detector. The MC samples are generated for pp collisions (14 TeV) for top-quark and Higgs-related processes with no pileup (mu0), 50 and 140 pileup scenarios. See the description here. The Delphes outputs are stored in ROOT (*.root) and ProMC (*.promc). The truth MC events are stored only in the binary ProMC (*.promc) format to save disk space. In order to download a folder with all files, right click on the directory below and select "Copy link location". Then use this URL link to copy all the files from the selected directory. An example for ROOT files:

Change "root" to "promc" to copy truth MC events in the ProMC format (extension *.promc). Run the browser (need Java 7) to view the MC truth information, cross section, log file etc:

MC events with the truth information can be found in the Reference repository with HEP simulation.
